As the title suggests, Þrjár myndir (Three images) consists of 3 short movements for solo violin, I. Kraumandi, II. Rennandi & III. Sofandi, each depicting a specific process or behaviour as well as offering diverse technical challenges for the performer. The piece was composed for violinist Ísak Ríkharðsson.
